Study on Gay Men’s Relationship with their Parents

Help Apoorva Ghoshand, member of Irvine United Congregational Church, in his quest to find candidates for his project on relationships between mature gay men and their parents.

He invites you to participate in his interview-based study on gay men’s relationship with their parents:

1) Are you 50 years in age or older?
2) Do you self-identify as a gay man?
3) Are/ were you professionally employed?
4) Do you live in the U.S. or India?
5) Have you never married a person of the opposite sex?
6) Did you have at least one parent aware that you are gay?

If your answer is “yes” on all above criteria, I invite you to participate in my interview-based Ph.D. dissertation study on gay men’s relationship with their parents. As a first step, I am seeking your consent to take a 5-minute survey.  This survey is my tool for recruiting interviewees.

Please go to the link https://ucisocsci.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_ewYxRlnurfMkU6N and you will be asked for your consent to take the survey.  After reading the details, you will have the option of either taking the survey or refusing to take it. At the end of the survey, you may leave your name and email address if you wish to be contacted for setting up an interview with me.

The conclusions of the study will be shared with the interview participants when published and any help will be acknowledged with names upon request. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at apoorva.ghosh@uci.edu. I understand that you are extremely busy, therefore thank you in advance for your help.
