Relief Effort for Central American Migrants

 

The Community Congregational Church of Chula Vista, United Church of Christ is answering the call to help Central American migrants who are in great need during this humanitarian crisis, in Tijuana, Mexico.

You are invited to be a part of that relief effort by donating any of the
following items:

• New Underwear (All sizes for boys, girls, and adult women and men)

• New Socks (All sizes for boys, girls, and adult women and men)

• Financial Donations of any amount. Checks should be made out to Community Congregational Church. Please write in memo section “Migrant Mission”. (We will be helping an emergency shelter of families located inside of a church in Tijuana. They are in need of financial help to cover costs of food and utilities.)

Please drop off donations at the church during normal office hours:
• Monday-Thursday; 9 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Saturdays *by appointment only
• Sunday mornings before or after worship services (no later than 12 p.m.)
Donation receipt available upon request
