64th Annual Pilgrim Place Festival

64th Annual

Pilgrim Place Festival

Claremont, California
Friday & Saturday, November 9 & 10, 2012
10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Held at Pilgrim Place¬—a senior community of people who have been called to  careers in religious or nonprofit humanitarian organizations—the two-day celebration features the creative crafts, talents and skills of residents. Visitors enjoy a craft fair and marketplace with more than 35 booths selling everything from plants and pottery to hand-crafted jewelry, used books, and much, much more – take a ride on the “Mayflower-on-Wheels” –  savor tasty treats from the food court or a festive luncheon of turkey with gravy & stuffing, vegetable, salad, dessert and beverage.

Children ride the Massassoit Superchief Train – create works of art at the “glue-in” and Nature Frames. The centerpiece each day at 1:45 pm is a live, sing-along performance featuring Pilgrim Place residents, this year focusing on real-life stories of several residents’ missionary service around the world.

Proceeds provide financial support to those whose resources can no longer meet their daily needs.

Call (909) 399-5500 or go to the Pilgrim Place website at www.pilgrimplace.org for more information.
