BOBBY JO VALENTINE in concert at the San Marino Congregational UCC

Singer/Songwriter Extraordinaire BOBBY JO VALENTINE will appear in concert at the San Marino Congregational UCC on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. in their Sanctuary.  Bobby Jo makes a triumphant return to San Marino UCC where he was so warmly received last year.  Since then he’s been all over the country (including SYNOD in Baltimore) and come through some tremendous challenges, including a fire that took almost everything he had except his guitar.  He’ll bring that guitar and tell us some heart-warming stories and sing us some amazing songs from his extensive songbook.

Come hear this inspiring singer who the Indie Music Digest calls a, “10 out of 10…world-class singer-songwriter.”  Born into a Baptist church of strict lines and sharp edges, and coming out of that culture to discover who he really is, Bobby is now a believer of a different sort: a believer in the wild, strange, beautiful nature of the world.  Come hear Bobby’s stories and songs, challenging us to question why we believe what we do and, most importantly, how that helps us be better humans in the world around us.

The concert is free, but, for those who can afford it, a $20 donation is suggested.  No one will be turned away for lack of funds.  San Marino UCC is located at 2560 Huntington Drive in the City of San Marino (91108).  You may call (626) 292-2080 or email us (smccucc@sanmarinoucc.org) if you need any further information
