RHF Anniversary Worship Service

RHF-logo2During the week of February 23rd , Retirement Housing Foundation (RHF) will be celebrating its 54th Anniversary, “RHF – Making A Difference for People”.

On Thursday, February 26th, members and friends of the Southern California Nevada Conference of the UCC are invited to a 7:30 pm worship service at the Community Congregational UCC (4111 Katella Avenue, Los Alamitos) to hear Brian Magnone and to celebrate the RHF’s ministry. Several of the UCC Conference Ministers are also scheduled to attend this celebration.

Brian Magnone is a member of the Calvary Chapel, Mission Viejo; Treasurer and National Board member of the UCC’s Council for Health and Human Service Ministries (CHHSM); and RHF’s Vice President of Treasury.

Retirement Housing Foundation (RHF), is a 501(c)(3),non-profit, faith-based, mission-driven, charitable organization and a recognized ministry of the UCC.  RHF was formed in 1961 by three visionaries; two California United Church of Christ clergymen and one layman.

At the beginning, RHF’s mission was to provide dignified, affordable housing and services for the elderly.  Today, RHF is one of the nation’s largest non-profit sponsors and managers of housing and services for older adults, persons with disabilities, and low-income families.

RHF means home to more than 19,000 people in 180 housing communities in 28 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.  While these communities are comprised of mostly apartments, RHF also provides housing with assisted living units and skilled nursing beds.
