Royal Victorian Tea Room & Music Hall at FCC Riverside UCC

Queen Victoria is coming to tea at First Congregational Church, Riverside UCC January 7 and 8.  And when the Queen is busy touring the festival, Jacob Marley’s ghost will appear at the newly created Haunted Teas.  For over 20 years, we have participated in the very popular Dickens Festival by hosting the Queen in our Royal Victorian Tea Room & Music Hall.  It started small, just the Queen and those taking tea and has become an entertainment extravaganza with rousing musical revues and Victorian style comedy.  Hosted by our own “Mr Treacle”,  guests will enjoy a traditional high tea featuring our famous church-oven baked scones.

The Royal Victorian Tea Room and Music Hall Queen’s Tea will feature tea with the Queen and her entire entourage.  The Haunted Teas guests will experience the presence of Jacob Marley as he comes rattling his chains and demanding tea.  There will be screams and scones while the music hall show goes on.

There will be two Queen’s teas on Saturday the 7th at 11:30 and 4pm   A third tea will occur at 3pm on Sunday the 8th.  There will be a Haunted Tea at 2pm Saturday and at 12:30 Sunday.  All teas are $19.95 which includes the sumptuous tea and all entertainment.  Advance Reservations for all teas is required and can be made by calling 951.213.6297.  Please note, the tea is held in our lower level.  No handicap access available.
