Conference Mission Partners
Pacific Islander and Asian American Ministries (PAAM)

Pacific and Asian American Ministry (PAAM) was organized in 1974 at a gathering in San Francisco with representatives throughout the United States with a vision to unite and move forward as Pacific Islander and Asian Americans in the United Church of Christ, sharing gifts with one another on the local, regional, and national levels. PAAM has initiated, sponsored, supported and participated in many activities on local church, regional, national, and ecumenical levels. PAAM is concerned with strengthening local churches and nurturing and developing clergy and lay leadership as well as justice issues. Rev. Misipouena Tagaloa is the Moderator of the Southern California Nevada Conference Chapter for PAAM.
