Southern California Nevada Conference of the United Church of Christ
Quick News From Jane
Jane Fisler Hoffman, Interim Conference Minister
Dear Friends,

Hearing a wide range of needs from our local churches, your Conference staff have arranged a number of outstanding learning opportunities for lay leaders and clergy from our congregations. However response has been low and we are rapidly approaching dates when we must decide whether to cancel these opportunities or not.  It is tempting to assume that low registration is a sign of no interest and if so, that's fine and we will decide accordingly.  But I'm having trouble believing that, since all of these respond to needs we hear from you, folks in our churches.  So I'm thinking that it is just the busy season of fall that has delayed your registration.  If so, PLEASE use the links below to sign up today. If you aren't the 'right' person from your church to participate in one of these but you think it would be valuable for someone to do so, please share this with them and encourage attendance.

And if, indeed, these are not events that are of value to you, what kind of educational/leadership development training would be more helpful to you?  Feel free to respond to the the Quick News email address and Keith will gather your responses for us.

In the meantime, here is what's coming up:
