Dear Friends,

Our excellent General and Minister and President, John Thomas, is approaching the end of his final term. He will conclude in the office following General Synod 2009 in June.  At a recent meeting of Conference Ministers, he made this address. I thought it outstanding and asked if we might share it with all of you.  I find John an excellent scholar, teacher and leader.  Though I will regret to lose him in this position, I look forward to seeing how he will next serve God's work. 

A Search Committee has been at work to make a nomination for the next General Minister and President and we will likely learn soon who that candidate is.
