Quick News From Jane Jane Fisler Hoffman, Interim Conference Minister Dear SCNC Friends, It is with that mixture of regret for us and joy for him that I write to inform you that Phil Jenkins, our Youth and Young Adult Ministries Coordinator, has resigned from that position to take up a new ministry position as Church Administrator at the Claremont United Church of Christ.  Phil has given deeply committed leadership to our Youth Round Table and the many expressions of this Conference's Youth and Young Adult Ministry and will be dearly missed.   His gifts have been a true blessing for many individuals and for the whole Conference.  I know you all join me and our Board of Directors in thanking God for the gift of Phil's ministry among us and thanking Phil for all he has done.     The Board has approved formation of a Youth and Young Adult Ministry Priority Implementation Team and Phil has collaborated with Associate Conference Minister, June Boutwell in identifying possible folks to be part of that team.   We hope to gather that team quickly and will ask them to share in discerning our next steps in implementing the priority, including staffing.    Please hold Phil, his family, the Roundtable and your Conference leadership in prayer as we move forward through this change.
