Faith Stories
Ephesians 4:15-16: "But speaking the truth in love, we must grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by every ligament with which it is equipped, as each part is working properly, promotes the body's growth in building itself up in love."
Each of us has a story to share - or lots of them - about God's love in our lives. At this year's Annual Gathering, instead of a single keynote speaker we will be inviting several different people from our Southern California and Nevada UCC churches to share a part of their faith story with us.
And, there will be opportunities for each one of us to share our faith story with each other during the course of our time together in Glendale, to open our ears and our hearts to God's presence in our lives and our congregations. As our theme scripture reminds us, we are knit together in love through Christ, who weaves our individual stories and lives into one body through the threads of love that bind us together. In this interim time as a conference, we pray that our time together at Annual Gathering will remind us of the strength of love that weaves us together in Christ. Please join us: your story is an essential part of who we are together.
